Location: Lafayette, LA

Description: Assists in the daily surveying activities under the supervision of a Party Chief.

Education: High school diploma or GED required; in lieu of education, 3 months of survey field experience along with basic reading, writing and mathematics skills is acceptable.

Experience: Entry level

Skills: Ability to travel, work long hours, and work on stand by. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop kneel or crouch; is regularly required to stand and walk; must frequently use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 65 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to endure extreme temperatures, hot and cold.
