Location: Lafayette, LA
Description: Operates the equipment used for surveying under the supervision of a Party Chief.
Education: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training which must include formal survey instrument training. Relevant experience can interchange with required education, but must include knowledge of basic reading, writing and mathematics.

Skills: Data Collector Software knowledge required. Ability to travel, work long hours, and work on stand by. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop kneel or crouch; is regularly required to stand and walk; must frequently use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 65 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to endure extreme temperatures, hot and cold.
