Dr. Kam Movassaghi, President of Fenstermaker, recently announced the appointment of Krista Goodin as Senior Planner for the firm. Ms. Goodin has over nine years of diversified consulting and nonprofit experience in public involvement, urban planning, environmental permitting and civil engineering. She has worked within both private and public sectors and her planning experience includes regional and statewide planning, comprehensive planning, environmental planning, transportation planning, policy development, land use code development, and implementation. Ms. Goodin has experience in public involvement for transportation and land use planning projects including meeting organization and implementation. Ms. Goodin has developed partnerships and conducted coalition building for both governmental and private entities.

In her new position with Fenstermaker, Ms. Goodin will identify new client opportunities for comprehensive planning needs, offer increased planning support for Fenstermaker's existing client base, and assist the Business Development Division with client development for local, regional, and state agencies, and non-governmental organizations. She will also manage planning public outreach programs for coastal restoration and environmental projects involving NEPA-related activities.

Ms. Goodin holds a Master of Science in Environmental Planning and Management from Louisiana State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Rollins College in 1998.

Prior to joining the Fenstermaker Team, Ms. Goodin worked with the Center for Planning Excellence as Principal Planner for the Louisiana Speaks Program. At HNTB Corporation, she was a Deputy Project Manager, Public Involvement Coordinator and Task Leader on numerous projects.

Ms. Goodin is Capital Section Director of the American Planning Association (APA) - Louisiana Chapter and was recently appointed to the AARP Louisiana Livable Communities Council (LCC).
