Gordon Nelson - Market Leader - Transportation / Ports & Waterways
In charge of both Transportation and Ports & Waterways markets, Mr. Nelson, P.E., previously held the position of Deputy Engineer Administrator at the LA Department of Transportation and Development (LA DOTD). With 28 years of experience at LA DOTD, he is no stranger to directing projects and managing budgets, holding such positions as Assistant Secretary of Operations, District Engineer Administrator, and District Maintenance Engineer before joining Fenstermaker. Mr. Nelson graduated from the University of Maine before completing his MS in Civil Engineering at LSU, and he is a licensed Engineer in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Gerard Duszynski - Market Leader - Natural Resources
Leading our market on Natural Resources, Mr. Duszynski manages projects and studies that develop, preserve and enhance the natural ecosystem. Before joining Fenstermaker, he worked for over 25 years at the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, where he held leadership roles including Assistant Secretary, Assistant Administrator, and Program Supervisor. During his years at DNR, Mr. Duszynski maintained responsibility for restoration projects, coastal efforts, conservation programs, grant contractions, and many more legislative matters and studies on natural resources. As the supervisor of the Institutional Conservative Program, he developed and monitored budgets and grants, making him well-versed in negotiating contracts and staying cost-efficient.

Bob Schroeder - Market Leader - Federal
Before arriving at Fenstermaker, Bob Schroeder served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for over 35 years. During that time, he acted as both Chief of the Planning Division and Chief of the Operations Division, supervising hundreds of professional engineers, environmental scientists, economists, and technical and clerical workers on numerous projects for the Corps. Some of his major accomplishments include developing plans for navigation, flood control, and coastal projects throughout the southeast. He is especially adept at dealing with the Federal government after years of working with the Regulatory Branch to handle permits and protect the coastal wetland. Mr. Schroeder is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor in Louisiana.

Steve Leblanc - Market Leader - Energy / Pipeline
Mr. Leblanc is well-seasoned in pipeline operations and safety, making him the perfect candidate to lead our Pipeline Market. With extensive experience in pipeline DOT compliance regulations, pipeline corrosion technology, damage prevention, and construction, Mr. Leblanc managed many pipeline projects during his time at Chevron Pipeline and Texaco Inc., where he worked for 28 years. Trained and authorized to deal with natural gases and hazardous liquids, he is more than qualified to consult local and federal governments and private land owners on both pipeline maintenance and its safety issues. While working at Texaco Inc., Mr. Leblanc also proved to possess excellent interpersonal skills and garnered awards for exemplary performance and outstanding customer service.

John Fenstermaker - Market Leader - Energy
As Vice President of Surveying and Mapping, Director of Field Procedures and Data Collection, and our Energy market leader, John Fenstermaker plays an integral role in the company's framework. Starting as a field surveyor, John's been immersed in the Survey Division for all 20 years he's been with the company, making him an authority on upholding Fenstermaker's quality standard for plats, record keeping, data, reports, and all forms of survey services. Skilled in the use of Del Norte positioning systems and trisponder systems, as well as Mini-Ranger measuring systems, John supervises our expansive and diverse range of surveying projects. He brings his enthusiasm, expertise, and natural charisma to every project and every client.
