The Coastal Project Manager is responsible for managing small and medium sized coastal projects, writing proposals and reports, and conducting research related to Coastal Louisiana and other Gulf states. The Coastal Project Manager will work among an experienced, successful and fully integrated team of coastal restoration specialists and will get the opportunity to engage in some of the most important issues that face our coast today, including habitat loss, sea level rise, subsidence, salt water intrusion, disaster response and recovery, oil spill response and recovery, and flood protection.
Am I qualified for this position?
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from an accredited university in an environmental science or engineering related field.
6 years of total experience and 3 years of experience managing projects.
NEPA or significant field data collection experience is preferred.
Candidate should have excellent writing and communication skills.
