What does this job entail?

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join our Human Resources department and administer the full recruitment process while focusing on the development of long-term recruiting strategies and cultivating relationships with potential hires.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
  • Post positions and source potential candidates through various networks and channels
  • Review applications and interview qualified candidates
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions
  • Organize and attend recruitment events
  • Nurture trusting relationships with potential candidates
  • Extend offers and set up pre-employment screenings for prospective hires

Am I qualified for this position?

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Human Resources Management or relevant field
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in talent acquisition
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
