Christopher Harlan Jr, PLS, E.I.

Professional Land Surveyor

Chris began his career in surveying while still in college after accepting a summer job laying out subdivisions with the survey crew for a local subdivision construction company. Over the years he has been involved with the survey of miles of pipelines in the oil and gas industry. He has been involved from initial route planning and surveying on the ground to the preparation of the final as-built alignment sheets. He also has years of experience in the utility industry in laying out utilities for new construction and relocating utilities for road widening projects. Chris’ extensive survey experience also includes hydrographic surveys for refineries up and down the Mississippi River as well as heavy haul roll-off sites. He specializes in boundary, topographic, construction/as-built, hydrographic, permits, servitude plats, containment surveys and ALTA surveys.

Chris earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2005. He’ll bring his advanced surveying skills to a diverse number of projects and will base out of the Baton Rouge office.

PERSONAL LIFE

Chris is an avid outdoorsman and also loves to spend time woodworking. He’s raising two sons with his wife of 8 years, Brooke.
