Mr. Gerard Satterlee, P.E. brings an extensive experience base in the study/planning/design/and management of civil works projects in the State of Louisiana. Since 1969, he contributes progressive experience in this arena, 34 years of which in various design and management positions with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the New Orleans District, culminating as the Chief of Engineering Division upon retirement. Mr. Satterlee is intensively involved in providing quality engineering services for the design, construction, and operation of flood control, hurricane protection, drainage, navigation, coastal restoration, and environmental projects including the hydraulic, civil, environmental, geotechnical, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural design for navigation, locks, dams, channels, waterways, pumping stations, floodwalls, bridges, roads, levees, and environmental enhancements.

Mr. Satterlee has been happily married since 1979 to Patricia D. Satterlee, and they have three children: Amy, Melanie, and Windy, and seven grandchildren. Mr. Satterlee was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church until Hurricane Katrina, and now attends St. Theresa.
