Wade Hamilton, P.E.

Coastal Engineer

Wade Hamilton, P.E. is a Coastal Engineer with a background in civil and environmental engineering. Since joining Fenstermaker in 2022, Mr. Hamilton has contributed to the design and construction oversight of coastal infrastructure projects, including rock breakwaters, drainage channel improvements, and water control structures. He also manages environmental documentation, permitting, and compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for a variety of projects.

Mr. Hamilton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2021 and earned a Graduate Certificate in Coastal Engineering from the University of New Orleans in 2025. He also completed a NEPA Project Management course from the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP) in 2025. Mr. Hamilton’s multidisciplinary background allows him to integrate engineering design with environmental stewardship to develop innovative solutions for coastal and water resources projects.

Personal Life

Wade enjoys traveling with his wife, Elise, to visit family and friends, attending LSU sporting events, playing beach volleyball, and spending time outdoors. His passion for the outdoors and the environment ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in coastal engineering.
