Dustin Guidry, P.E.

Engineer

Dustin Guidry, P.E. has been a member of the Lafayette engineering team since December 2012, when he began his career as a Construction Inspector. He later served as an Engineering Technician while pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, which he earned in 2019. Through these progressive roles, he developed a strong foundation in both field operations and design support. He became a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana in 2023.

Dustin most recently serves as a Construction Administrator, coordinating with inspectors, contractors, and design engineers to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards. His experience includes roadway, drainage, and utility infrastructure projects, including water, sewer, and gas systems. He currently serves as City Engineer Consultant for the City of Scott, supporting municipal infrastructure improvements and providing guidance throughout project planning, design, and construction.

 

Personal Life

Dustin has been happily married to his wife, Sloane, and together they have three children: Evangelene, Graham, and Cecile. As an Acadiana native, he values time spent with family and enjoys being actively involved in his children’s activities. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, attending LSU football games, and spending time with friends and extended family.
