Larry F. Broussard, P.E.

Senior Engineer

Since graduating from USL in 1984, Larry F. Broussard, P.E. has worked in the engineering field in private consulting, private industry and municipal government.  With each entity, he was involved in civil and/or environmental engineering associated with transportation, drainage, environmental and residential/commercial development projects in both rural and urban settings.  Through project experience, Mr. Broussard is familiar with engineering standards related to the preparation of design, construction, and contractual specifications of roadway and drainage facilities in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.  He is proficient in municipal, residential, and commercial development regulations and National Flood Insurance Program for floodplain management.

  • Retired from Lafayette Consolidated Government Department of Public Works after over 20 yrs of service.
  • Public Works Civil Engineering Supervisor – Design and Development for 19 of those years. This position also functions as “City Engineer” for Consolidated Government performing review and approval of private residential/commercial subdivision developments.
