Travis Bodin, MBA, PLS, PMP

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer of C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, L.L.C., Travis Bodin, MBA, PLS, PMP, provides firmwide operational leadership with a focus on strategic planning, resource management, talent development, and financial and operational efficiency. He works across the organization to strengthen internal teams, support client relationships, and align people and processes with Fenstermaker’s long-term goals. A committed mentor, Travis places particular emphasis on developing team members and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Since joining Fenstermaker in 2004, Travis has held leadership and technical roles across the firm’s Survey & Mapping and Engineering operations. Before becoming Chief Operating Officer, he served as Vice President of Survey & Mapping and previously as Survey Office Operations Leader, managing daily operations across the company’s survey offices. Earlier in his career, he worked with Fenstermaker’s engineering design team, producing subdivision, topographic, roadway, right-of-way, and servitude plats, as well as legal descriptions.

His experience spans project management, survey operations, topographic and boundary surveys, right-of-way mapping, high-accuracy control networks, field data management, and digital terrain modeling. This combination of technical expertise and organizational leadership gives Travis a broad understanding of how Fenstermaker’s teams work together to deliver successful projects and serve clients.

Personal Life

Mr. Bodin has been happily married since 2006 to Michelle G. Bodin and they have twin daughters: Avery and Brooklyn. Mr. Bodin is originally from New Iberia and is a graduate of New Iberia Senior High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
