Our Team

Tyler Young, P.E.

Engineer

Tyler joined Fenstermaker in 2022 as an Engineer Intern and has since developed a strong focus in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. He spent more than two years supporting the Region 4 Louisiana Watershed Initiative modeling team, contributing to the development of large-scale HEC-RAS hydraulic models used for watershed planning and flood risk evaluation.

Tyler also played a key role in the 2023 Calcasieu Parish Watershed Report Card—an innovative, first-of-its-kind effort to assess drainage infrastructure condition and resiliency at the parish level. His experience includes conducting consequence analyses to preliminarily evaluate and scope potential drainage improvements, completing pond feasibility and design modeling efforts, and supporting the preparation of a CLOMR for a coastal levee system.
