Season 6 of FUELED: Powering Louisiana’s Future is officially underway.
This season explores the people, infrastructure, and decisions shaping Louisiana’s energy future through conversations with the leaders responsible for generating, delivering, governing, and planning the power that fuels our communities.
We begin with Katherine Domingue, CEO and General Manager of SLEMCO, whose conversation explores the cooperative model through the lens of community trust, member ownership, and long-term stewardship.
One idea serves as the foundation for the episode:
“Before you can create trust with your community, you have to start within your walls.”
Throughout the conversation, Katherine shares how that philosophy influences SLEMCO’s culture, leadership, communication, and commitment to the members it serves. It’s a reminder that reliable electric service depends not only on infrastructure, but also on the people dedicated to maintaining it every day.
As the season continues, FUELED will broaden the conversation with leaders from across Louisiana’s energy sector, offering a deeper understanding of the systems, partnerships, and long-term planning required to keep our state powered for generations to come.
