Built for play.
Designed to serve Lafayette for decades.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with committed leaders and collaborators, working alongside
Lafayette Consolidated Government,
LAND Architecture,
M & E Consulting,
Prouet Architecture & Engineering,
and engaged community stakeholders, to expand Moore Park in a way that serves the people who use it.
This ribbon cutting marks a milestone.
It reflects what’s possible when shared vision and trust come together in service of community.
Project highlights include:
‣ A synthetic turf field engineered for immediate play, even after heavy rain
‣ Grandstand seating for up to 1,000 spectators
‣ Expanded parking with improved circulation and multiple entry points
‣ Modern LED lighting replacing outdated field systems
‣ An inclusive playground designed for children of all abilities
Beyond the features, the experience matters.
Enhanced pedestrian paths improve safety and connectivity.
A state-of-the-art concession facility and expanded restroom capacity support both regional tournaments and everyday use, ensuring the park functions as well as it welcomes.
Taken together, the impact is long-term.
These investments position Moore Park as a durable public asset, capable of hosting large-scale events, supporting economic activity, and serving families for years to come.
At Fenstermaker, this is how we serve Louisiana communities—by designing infrastructure for the generations who will grow up within it.
